The Weaver’s Faerie is one of the small group of plant spirit dolls completed at the Spring Equinox. She was created to honour the familiar spirits that assist weavers and spinners as they create. She is a full-bodied doll with moveable limbs that can be carried in the pocket of her keeper. She wears a cloak made from a scrap of pure wool tweed that I gathered on pilgrimage in the Hebrides. Around her neck are citrine stones on a thread of golden yellow. Her hair is woven from wool from Iceland. She is filled with Jasmin flowers that are in full bloom in our garden in lutruwita / Tasmania and she was made by hand with love.
