The Faerie Blade plant spirit doll is part of a family of dolls completed on the Eve of the Solstice. Inside her body she is filled with the plant motherwort also known as ‘lionheart’ or ‘lion tail’. I see this larger doll as one who ‘tends to magic threads’ she knows when to weave the threads and when to cut and release. I see this larger doll as an altar doll that could help to hold a group and community within her protective love. She has a blade of crystal on her dress below an all-seeing eye woven in wool and silk. She was made by hand with love.
