The Storyteller plant spirit doll is part of a family of dolls completed on the Eve of the Solstice. Inside her body she is filled with the plant motherwort also known as ‘lionheart’ or ‘lion tail’. I see this doll as one who remembers the stories of the ancestors and delights in sharing them with her keeper. She has the antlers of her kin the Deer in her hair that is woven from a silver fibre made from wild roses. She wears a spiral of wool and flax over her belly. She was made by hand with love.
