The Elder Hedgewitch plant spirit doll is part of a family of dolls completed on the Eve of May. She is filled with raspberry leaves and her silver hair is woven from a plant fibre made of roses. She wears a black wool dress woven with silk and shawl woven from a scrap of woven wool from a local Tasmanian mill. Around her neck on a cord woven from nettles is a spiral talisman. She was made by hand with love.
