The Pilgrimage Guardian

$510.00
sold out

The Pilgrimage Guardian is one of the small group of plant spirit dolls completed at the Spring Equinox. She was created to honour the women who journeyed on foot through the pilgrimage paths in Scotland. She wears a cloak made from a scrap of pure wool tweed that I gathered on pilgrimage in the Hebrides and it is held closed by a sword brooch made in Scotland. Over her heart is an all seeing EYE woven in silk and wool to help her keeper see when the path is no longer visible. She is filled with a full Blue Lotus Flower, 3 Thistle seeds, crystals Butterfly Pea flowers. Her hair is woven from wool I gathered on the Isle of Skye and her dress from wool from the Shetland Isles. She was made by hand with love.
