The Weaver's Daughter Doll

$510.00
sold out

The Weaver’s Daughter spirit doll was created before the first full moon of 2024. She is a large doll filled with a whole blue lotus flower. Her dress is made from needlefelted Welsh wool with a skirt of grey Corriedale wool from Australia. Her blue eyes are woven in silk. She wears a shawl made from a large scrap of pure wool tweed that I gathered on my pilgrimage to the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and it is held together by a cord of nettle. On the nettle cord is a hagstone made from Chrysoprase crystal. I see her as an ancestral doll that can journey back into the past and receive messages from the weavers of the past for her new keeper. She was created by hand in our home in lutruwita / Tasmania.
